When purchasing a travel suitcase, consumers should first inspect its exterior. Check that the case is well-shaped and symmetrical-stand it upright or place it upside down on the ground to ensure all four corners make contact without tilting, and verify that the surfaces are smooth and free of scratches or cracks; pay particular attention to the symmetry of the four corners on both the top and bottom shells. Open the case and inspect the closure; the edges should align precisely with minimal gaps, and the fit should be tight. Hinges should operate smoothly without sticking, and latches or buckles must fasten securely yet open easily. The interior lining should be firmly adhered, and the fabric free from pulled threads or tears. Handles (both carrying and towing) must be securely attached with no looseness. The telescopic handle should extend and retract freely while maintaining structural integrity; the fit between the sliding and fixed sections should be precise, avoiding excessive play. Pressing the locking button should allow for smooth extension and retraction. Wheels should rotate freely; those equipped with bearings are preferable. To test the lock, try setting various number combinations to ensure it opens and closes correctly.
